MeriSehat consultation
Privacy policy
Information we collect
We may collect contact details, age, health information you provide during a consultation, technical information about how you use this site, including your IP address and approximate city or region, and information necessary to respond to requests or provide the service.
Why we use it
We use information to arrange and support doctor consultations, maintain service records, protect users and the service, respond to enquiries, meet legal obligations, and improve the site and service.
How doctors and service providers receive information
Relevant health information is made available to the registered medical practitioner involved in the consultation. We may use carefully selected providers for hosting, communications, analytics and operational support, including WhatsApp where used.
Site experiments, analytics and advertising
We use a first-party anonymous browser identifier, an opaque consultation reference, and server-observed network and approximate location information to keep a site-experience assignment consistent and understand where visits and consultations start. Google Analytics loads when you visit this site to measure page visits and site usage. We do not send symptoms, diagnoses, names, phone numbers, consultation references, or other health information to Google Analytics, Google Ads, or advertising pixels.
Retention, correction and deletion
We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including applicable legal and clinical recordkeeping requirements.
Security and emergencies
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. MeriSehat is not an emergency service; call 112 or visit the nearest emergency department for emergencies.
